WHY THE NAME CHANGE?
We opened as "The Brewers Club" five years ago to do exactly as the name suggests - brew a range of world class beers and share our appreciation of a fine drop with our club members. However, although our membership is now in the thousands, we are still thought by the unaware public to be a home brew outlet that caters to hobbyists. We are in fact a MICRO BREWERY making beer in a similar fashion to the big breweries except we brew to order from a choice of 150 premium beers for around half the price you would expect to pay in a bottle shop. Because our beer is brewed, refrigerated and picked up from our premises they are not pasteurised and contain none of the hangover causing preservatives and chemicals found in the products of larger commercial breweries.
To avoid any confusion we have renamed our business the "LAUGHING LIZARD BREWING COMPANY".
WHY?
Because while we are generally "flat out like a lizard drinking" he’s the one with a smile on his face.
